Andy H. Jung (b. 1978, South Korea) lives and works in Seoul, South Korea. For many years Jung has observed plants that are common around us, exploring their aggressive and defensive nature through his art.

Jung studied photography at San Francisco Art Institute. In 2012 he earned his MFA in Photography at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY. Jung won the Leica artist of the year award in 2019 and was named Official Ambassador for Nikon Imaging Korea in 2020. He has shown extensively in Seoul, New York, Milan, and London.

Andy H. Jung has chosen his colors for their symbolic meaning. In East Asian tradition, the color white signifies life, while red signifies karma, fate, or opportunity.
