"These photographs explore the depths of human emotion through body movement and the sensual play of fabric on nude skin. All are symbolic elements of my own herculean tale of perseverance in the face of mortality.
A recent cancer diagnosis acted as a catalyst for my artistic rebirth.  After having left my love of the craft for decades, this entanglement with disease forced my mind open, and brought the camera back to my eye.
The end of the life I thought I knew, bringing a rebirth of sorts returning me to my love of art and beauty.
As a professional photographer my clients included fashion designer Michael Kors, Book Covers for Random House “Marianne Williamson, A Return To Love”, appearing in Harpers Bazaar and Sony Music, Music Express Magazine “Kim Mitchell, Lee Aron, Cowboy Junkies, Blue Rodeo”, cover story images. Photolife Magazine did a cover story on my work. I was published in “Lust, The Body Politic”, Worked for Liberation Publications for 10 years shooting over 100 editorial spreads.
My work has always been minimal, even restrained. Single soft box. 120 mm film, Hasselblad camera. Taking pictures is the one constant of my life. These images are specific to shifts of queer experience and awakening.
